As we bring WIN-HEC into 2012, much is underway for our future prospects and steadfast growth. Locating headquarters within the Pacific Oceania Asia rim under the stewardship of VerlieAnn and Trevor we will renew energies and centre WIN-HEC Head Office in a key strategic position for our work ahead.
We will further extend our memberships, our research momentum and alliances through our conference in Taiwan in September. 2012. More collaboration in accreditations, and working groups under academic programmes to bring about new postgraduate partnerships, and expanding new initiatives are our commitment to lead WIN-HEC. Our continued solidarity across our indigenous communities, peoples, nations, institutions and continents are fundamental to navigating our WIN-HEC vision and mission through constant and challenging global economies and rapid unpredictable changes that impact upon and people.
Together we can all do more collectively as our WIN-HEC families, friends and colleagues celebrate and give thanks for all we have achieved, for all we have set as our goals and challenges, and for all of our dedicated leaders across our WIN-HEC global network. Best regards to each and every one of you and your teams who work tirelessly as servant leaders to our peoples everywhere. We thank you all and wish each of you and your families and kin the best for the festive season and New Year. We look forward to opening 2012 with more details of our plans going forwards. We end our greetings with a Chinese Proverb.
“If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.”
Kia kaha. Aloha!
