Sámi leather cap

This leather cap ("náhkkegahpir" in North Saami) is sewn by Ann Majbritt Eriksen in Guovdageaidnu, Sápmi. It is a normal Sámi leather cap, but the artist was inspired by patterns and techniques from Jakutia, Russia, when sewing this cap.
